Old and in need of repair, but the best option if the Guesthouse on Academy is booked. The staff was kind. If you call and no one answers, just keep calling back, it may take a minute to catch them near the phone as they are often helping guests get settled in.
Loved our stay and staff and visit on Christmas to the huddle house as well
It isn't the Holiday Inn or Hilton, but is clean, roomy and very friendly staff. You would have to stay in Augusta for better accommodations. The price is reasonable, as well. Stayed there twice now. Happy both times.

Lady at desk was friendly, beds and pillows are totally decent, very clean, looks like new carpet, fridge is cold. We stopped two other places before this. Probably the nicest in a 20 mile radius.
The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was very nice. We even had a tree frog visit in the shower. Lol. It's next door to Huddle House, which is very convenient. We had a nice stay.
